HYDAC achieves the AS/NZS 61439 certification.
AS/NZS 61439 certification is a series of standards for low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies that replaces the AS/NZS 3439 series. Three key areas of the standards are temperature rise test, arc faults, and verification.
Australian push to be European-standard compliant
Australia has shown a growing commitment to aligning with European standards in recent years. For example, the country transitioned from 415V 3-phase and 240V single-phase to 400V 3-phase and 230V single-phase to match standard voltages in Europe.
The IEC 61439 standard has been in use in Europe for over a decade, and this new standard will help Australia enhance its international compatibility.

The adoption of AS/NZS 61439 brings significant changes to the design and verification processes for electrical systems in Australia.
